I am a master carpenter with 25+ years of experience in all phases of carpentry, building additions, plumbing, kitchen and bathroom remodeling and some electrical. My wife and I live outside of Chicago and would like to move to Ireland (I'm of Irish decent). I am a third generation carpenter highly qualified in this area.

Sincerely,

Hello,

I work for a company called K. Shiel staircases, producing supplying and fitting stairs of all sorts, though we are not based in Dublin, we do a lot of work there.

The majority of the jobs we do are one off staircases in new homes, but we also replace existing stairs when the need arises.

All our work is in solid timber, we do everything from straight single flights to curved and spiral stairs.

We also supply up and down sash windows, internal and external doors made to measure and required design.

K. Shiel Staircases Co. Wexford

Kind Regards, Bruce

Hello,
It's obvious from your interesting website that you know about wood working so hopefully you will know the answer to my question. I'm looking for some place to sharpen a hand saw; I live in Cabinteely, south county dublin, any ideas?
Many thanks,
Richard
