Treewright Bodger

I’ve just found an excellent woodworking blog; the Treewright Bodger. He deals there with “Woodturning on the pole lathe using hand tools and freshly felled timber”, which I find fascinating, as I’ve always considered turning green timber to be madness - what do you do when it dries and warps? But apparently it’s been a subset of turning for centuries.
